“Digital agency” is a loose label. In New Mexico you will see freelancers, template resellers, and a few studios that actually write code. The test is simple: who is on the invoice, what you own, and whether the work is scoped before the card is charged.
Ask who you are contracting with
If the brand name on the site is not the name on the contract, ask why. SINLE Innovation Agency is a trade name of SINLE Technologies LLC. Your statement descriptor and legal pages should match that LLC — the same standard Stripe reviewers use.
Ask what you own
You should receive the repository, design files and admin access on final payment. If the agency keeps the site on an account you cannot leave, you do not own it.
We transfer code, design and assets when the last invoice is paid. Third-party tools keep their own licences. That is written in the statement of work.
Ask when you pay
Typical project billing is 50% to start and 50% on delivery, in USD. Retainers bill monthly in advance and cancel with 30 days’ notice. If someone wants the full amount before a scope exists, walk away.
