Booking · Local business · Website · Origin
Search “booking website for local business” and the first screen is scheduling SaaS. Those tools can be the calendar. They are not a website. Customers still have to trust the shop, see hours, and book without hunting a link in a bio.
The job is a brand-faithful site that takes the appointment. Origin is built for that: services, hours, location, a flow on mobile, a form or booking that lands somewhere you check. If the rules are strange — deposits, packages, staff, rooms — that is Custom, quoted after a call.
A widget on a dead page is still DMs
Calendly in the Instagram bio is how operators hide. The person has to believe you before they give you a Tuesday. That is photos that look like the room, copy in the voice you use at the counter, and policies you will actually keep. Then the button.
What we will not bolt on
A 24/7 chatbot that invents Saturday hours. Auto-pay in a DM. A marketplace theme with stock photos of another city. If you need the calendar software you already have, we can point at it. We will not pretend the widget is the product.
How you know it worked
DMs about hours go down. Bookings show a referrer that is your site. You stop sending the same paragraph at 9pm. If those three do not move, we fix the page. We do not add a second tool.
The steps — do these in order
- 01
Write the eight questions you already answer in DMs
Hours, parking, walk-ins, wait, price range, what to bring, cancellation, how to book. Put them on the site first.
- 02
Pick where the booking lands
Your calendar, your inbox, or software you already pay for. The site is the front door. The widget is not the brand.
- 03
Match name, address and phone to the listing
If Google Business says one thing and the site says another, you will keep losing the click.
- 04
Make the flow work on a phone
Most bookings happen between jobs. If the form is a desktop leftover, you still live in Instagram.
- 05
Launch, then stop pasting the same reply
Point Stories at the URL. Count DMs for two weeks. If they did not drop, the FAQ is incomplete — not the chatbot.
If this is the work you need, write. You get a written scope, a price in USD, and a site or product you own. Nothing is billed before you approve it.
